Masking
Masks are not required to receive services at time.space, but are requested if you're experiencing any cold or allergy symptoms. We have masks on hand if you'd like to wear one at any point during your service out of kindness to yourself, your stylist, or other clients. Want us to mask? No need to ask! When we see one on you, we'll mask up too.
Though our studio is a low-population environment, it is still a shared space. If you'd like a fully private appointment, please email us at hello@timespacepgh.com or text us at 412.480.4741 to coordinate your experience.

Children
Due to liability issues and the many possibilities for personal danger and service disruption, salons (including ours) are generally not child-friendly environments. For this reason, we ask that you limit children spending time with us to instances when they are having their own service performed. No services will be enforced on children in active distress at their appointment time.

We understand that coordinating childcare can be frustrating, costly, and often unpredictable which means that your little one may need to attend your appointment for some or all of your service time. Out of care and respect for everyone, most importantly your child, please be honest about their capacity to solo-play while in our space and make any preparations for their time to be as comfortable as possible so that we can focus on your comfort, as well as the comfort of our other guests.
Adjustments
Despite our education and experience and the time we spend consulting at the start of each service, sometimes things don't work out quite right. If your end result isn't meeting your expectations, please let us know as soon as possible (preferably before you leave the salon) so that we can re-consult and schedule any revisions. Many concerns can be addressed through simple adjustments or small details. Service adjustments are complimentary within two weeks of your service and are offered on a prorated basis thereafter.
Products
Trying something new can be tricky! We believe in our products and provide personal guidance in-salon to help you make the best decisions for your at-home routine. If you're struggling to achieve your desired result, we're here to help! We're happy to workshop your product experience or offer an exchange or full refund within 30 days of your purchase if needed.

In support of our sustainability efforts, we offer a recycling program for product packaging through our partnership with Green Circle Salons. When you bring in an empty product, we'll recycle it for you and extend a 10% discount off the purchase of a new product to show our appreciation for your participating in our vision of sustainable salon culture.
Cancellations
Please be kind to your stylist by alerting us to any changes regarding your appointment with as much notice as possible, and no later than 24 hours before your reservation. You can ONLY cancel your appointment by reaching out to us directly through email or by calling/texting 412.480.4741. We do NOT accept cancellations through direct messages on either business or individual social media platforms.

Cancellations communicated with less than 24 hours notice will be assessed a cancellation fee of $40/hour based on the duration of your appointment reservation. This fee will be charged through the card that was put on file at the time of booking.

As a courtesy to you, we issue a confirmation message 72 hours in advance of each appointment, as well as a reminder message 24 hours in advance. Non-response to the confirmation messages is not a cancellation and non-receipt of these messages does not waive our cancellation policy in any way. It is your responsibility to make note of your appointment time/date and to notify us of any changes to your reservation in the appropriate manner.

In case of an urgent or emergent situation, the full balance of the cancellation fee will be credited towards any service rescheduled and completed within 7 days of the originally scheduled appointment.

Individuals who habitually cancel or reschedule with limited notice will be required to pre-pay a deposit for all future reservations.
No-Call No-Shows
Any client who does not notify us of their need to cancel and does not show up for a scheduled appointment will be assessed a no-show fee of $100/hr based on the duration of the appointment reserved. This fee will be charged to the card on file as communicated at the time of booking. Because communication is one of the guiding principles of our business, clients who deny us the courtesy of basic information regarding their cancellation will be banned from booking any future services with us.
